Check in
All visitors who have booked Question Time tickets will need to check in on the day between 12.45 pm and 1.30 pm at the Ticketing and Cloaking Office located on level 1 in the Members’ Hall adjacent to the galleries.
Once checked in, visitors will receive a Question Time ticket.
Cloaking
All bags, hats, cameras, mobile phones and other electronic devices (including cameras and smart watches) must be left in the cloak room at the time of check in. If you are leading a group booking, please aim to cloak all items together.
After cloaking, visitors should then proceed to the ticket holders queue to undergo mandatory secondary screening, before being directed to the galleries where they will be seated.
Seating
Seating will commence from 1.35 pm. Please be seated by 2.00 pm to guarantee your seat.
Rules which must be observed by visitors to House Question Time
Wearing clothing displaying offensive or political messages is prohibited
Banners and signs are not permitted in the galleries
Present your Question Time ticket to security staff when entering the galleries
Visitors in the open galleries must be silent and not disrupt proceedings in any way (applause and hand gestures are not permitted)
Visitors in the enclosed galleries must not touch the glass, nor lean on the handrail
Stand when all Members stand (i.e. as a mark of respect)
Comply with all instructions given by security staff and Serjeants
Failure to observe these instructions may result in visitors being denied entry to, or removed from, the galleries.
Visitors may choose to wear a face mask whilst in the galleries given physical distancing is not always possible.
